Breaking News

We'd now like to follow up on a story we brought you last week. As you may know, the small town called Grandma's Snow Village sustained some damage last week from what was then thought to be straight-line winds. Recent investigation has uncovered evidence of another force at work in this disaster, but we'll have more on that in a moment. (Click here for the original story.)

A visit to Grandma's Snow Village yesterday revealed the happy news that cleanup efforts have gone well, and the town has been restored to order. Here, you can see that Matt's Gas Station is back to business as usual, although it does appear that there are a couple of young people on the road near Matt's place with car trouble again. I hope they can get someone to help them out with that.

Search parties were able to locate the two campers who were missing after last week's storm. Looks like they're back out on the mountain, doing some more sightseeing. The General Store did not sustain any damage in the storm, and it looks like the townsfolk are out in full force, perhaps preparing for their New Year's Eve celebrations. It would appear that all is well and back to normal in Grandma's Snow Village. It is so heartwarming to know that a community can pull together and help each other out in times of crisis like these.

Back to you in the studio...

BUT WAIT!! What's this?!? It's a giant! He looks like one of the two that are rumored to live in the Utahian mountains! Why would he stray so far from home?
Ladies and gentlemen, I am just astonished at this rare sight! I'm sure we all have questions, but it seems that the giant is back to unleash more destruction! Let's see if we can get his attention and scare him away from Grandma's Snow Village.
Success! The culprit is on the run! Someone call the nearby Grampa's Police!

Hold on... it appears that the Grampa police force has caught our suspect red-handed! He doesn't look happy. And it's no wonder... he's facing hard time for his crimes against the people of Grandma's Snow Village.
Updated: Questioning of the suspect has revealed more details in this investigation. The suspect will only identify himself as Hurricane "S." It seems he just wanted to play with the snow people, but because he is a giant, the force of his jolly laughter blew down all the fences and trees and the people ran from him in fear, knocking each other down. So he decided to eat some of the snow, but didn't like the taste. Like plastic, it seems.

Hurricane "S" also mentioned something about Thuperman and "wee-wiwwas." Evidently, we will need to call in Aunt Thathey, our professional translator, for further questioning.

That's all for now. We'll keep you updated.
