Okay, so I asked the children if they could play quietly while I take a quiz for my online class. They agreed (I'm thinking "Yeah, right,"), so I gave them all a snack (super-healthy Crunch Berries in a cup) and went to sit at my computer. I managed to get all the way through with the quiz and as soon as I submitted my answers, I realized that I didn't hear the children. At all. I glanced to my right and saw them all sitting, transfixed and quiet, in front of the TV, chomping away on their Crunch Berries. The Princess leans over and says something to her Big Brother, to which he replies...
(Are you ready for this?)
/Sniff. My heart, it can only take so much pride.
However.
It didn't last long. As soon as they realized they were all quiet and still at the same time, someone had to reach over and punch someone else and then someone else got tackled and all was normal again. The boys are now wrestling in the floor and the Princess has gone to change clothes. Again. For the fifth time today. And it's only 10:30... a.m.
Is it too early to make them take a nap?
